GLS Universityમાં ચાલી રહેલી ત્રણ દિવસીય Inter-College Competition ‘Narrative’ બીજા દિવસનો રંગીન અને વિચારપ્રેરક અનુભવ
GLS Universityમાં ચાલી રહેલી ત્રણ દિવસીય Inter-College Competition ‘Narrative’ studentsને માત્ર perform કરવાની જગ્યા નહીં પરંતુ વિચારવા, પ્રશ્ન પૂછવા અને પોતાની વાત કહેવાની એક જીવંત space આપી રહી છે. આ competitionમાં art, culture, social consciousness અને youth expression એકસાથે અનુભવી શકાય છે.
President Shri Sudhir Nanavatiના માર્ગદર્શન હેઠળ અને Executive Director Ms. Chandani Kapaadiyaના leadership હેઠળ ‘Narrative’ એક એવો platform બની રહ્યો છે, જ્યાં students પોતાની ઓળખ, વિચારધારા અને સંવેદનાને freely express કરી શકે. Studentsને જીવનભર યાદ રહે એવો experiential journey આપવો આ vision બીજા દિવસની દરેક activityમાં સ્પષ્ટ જોવા મળ્યો.
Competitionના બીજા દિવસે વિવિધ impactful events યોજાયા હતા. Drama section હેઠળ Nukkad Natakનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું, જેમાં studentsએ Water Crisis, Digital Arrest અને Corruption જેવા ગંભીર સામાજિક મુદ્દાઓને street theatreના powerful medium દ્વારા રજૂ કર્યા હતા.
Dance categoryમાં Indian Culture Dance theme પર performances રજૂ કરવામાં આવી હતી. Garba, Rajasthani dance, Ghoomar, Bhangra, Mishra Raas અને અન્ય folk dances દ્વારા studentsએ ભારતની સંસ્કૃતિની વિવિધતા અને energyને જીવંત કરી હતી.
Fine arts events હેઠળ cartooning, on-the-spot painting, Rangoli, mehendi અને nail art competitions યોજાઈ હતી. Fine arts themes તરીકે Women Empowerment, Digital India, Disconnect to Reconnect અને Technology જેવા contemporary topics આપવામાં આવ્યા હતા, જેમાં studentsએ પોતાની creativity સાથે strong messages રજૂ કર્યા હતા.
Literary eventsમાં debate competition યોજાઈ હતી, જેમાં ચર્ચાનો વિષય હતો “Whether modernity and tradition can co-exist.” Students દ્વારા વિચારપ્રેરક અને તર્કસભર ચર્ચાઓ રજૂ કરવામાં આવી હતી.
Music categoryમાં Western Group Singing અને Indian Group Singing competitions યોજાઈ હતી, જેમાં studentsએ વિવિધ genresમાં soulful અને energetic performances આપી હતી.
Technology events હેઠળ Binary Battle અને Vision Craft જેવી competitions યોજાઈ હતી. આ સાથે એક ખાસ attraction તરીકે Human Libraryનું અલગ setup તૈયાર કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું, જ્યાં studentsએ human books બનીને વિવિધ life stories અને perspectives રજૂ કર્યા હતા. સમગ્ર setup famous books અને literatureના theme પર students દ્વારા creatively decorate કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો.
આ ઉપરાંત Harry Potter અને Narniaના theme પર આધારિત એક dark room પણ તૈયાર કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો, જે students માટે immersive અને magical experience બની રહ્યો હતો.
Narrativeનો બીજો દિવસ અત્યંત colourful, vibrant અને youth energyથી ભરપૂર રહ્યો, જ્યાં art, thought અને imagination એકસાથે મળીને campusને એક જીવંત storyમાં રૂપાંતરિત કરી દીધું.
